At Redeeming Grace Chapel, you won't find a professional church. In fact, you may be surprised by how simple our Sunday morning services are. In lieu of thrills, frills, and garnishments, we endeavor to faithfully pray, sing, and preach God's Word. We believe that God has entrusted the local church as the primary vehicle for the spread of the Gospel. Because we are a Gospel-centered church, we believe that while we want to do things excellently, the church is more than a Sunday morning event, place, or experience. The church is people! God has worked mightily in history through His Son to redeem many people from lives of sin to lives of love and holiness. This affects how we at RGC view ministry. We do not believe that the opportunity of ministry is to be enjoyed solely by the pastors or staff, but instead the job of the pastor is to "equip saints for the work of ministry, to build up the body of Christ..." (Ephesians 4:12-13). What we see in this Scripture passage, as well as many others, is that the focus of a healthy church shouldn't be the multiplication of programs, but people! We therefore believe in every-member ministry, where the laity themselves are equipped to go and make disciples. We want all of God's people to be actively participating in the local church; to volunteer to serve, to minister to orphans and widows, to commit to communal evangelistic efforts, disciple one another, and to intertwine our lives with the lost and saints alike. We believe that this philosophy of ministry brings more glory to the risen Christ and is more beneficial to us!
